Sanitation & Recycling

The City of Richland completes garbage pick up every Tuesday. Each household unit is allowed two 44 gallon trash cans or four bags. The weight of each garbage can, including garbage, cannot exceed 50 pounds. Any additional waste must have the city approved stickers secured to each bag. The tags are available at city hall for $1 per tag.

Recycling days are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Recyclables must be properly prepared for pick up. There is no limit to the amount of recyclables.
